I’m a Senior Art Director living in Richmond, Virginia. In the course of my career, I’ve had an amazing time working with great companies on everything from coffee to healthcare and with institutions as diverse as retirement and education.
No matter the client, I pride myself on producing quality work, using creative problem solving and innovative thinking. I possess a strong eye for detail and can thrive independently as well as in a team environment. I enjoy pushing myself to improve and gain skills.
As part of the Martin Agency’s pioneering content creation team, S2, I am responsible for art direction of content seen in-store at Walmart as well as on social networks and other online media. In this capacity, I partner with the top national retail brands to raise awareness and drive sales in the retail environment.

To drive sales in the Walmart grocery area, I create longer format pieces that demonstrate shorthand versions of recipes.

The next three pieces started as an in-store, weather-triggered campaign. Due to the success of this program, the content also ran on social networks.

My Qualifications
The Martin Agency/S2
Senior Art Director for S2, the creative arm of the Martin Agency responsible for content creation for Walmart Smart Network. As such, I create digital content to increase awareness and sales in the retail environment for major retail brands.
​
My art direction responsibilities include concepting, casting, and working with writers, producers, photographers, animators, Illustrators, editors and directors to create content within budget and under short time constraints.
​
Clients include Starbucks, Proctor and Gamble, Reckitt Benckiser, Unilever and Clorox among others.
Hands-on skills include working with In Design, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Elizabeth Snyder LTD
I assumed all principle roles for operating a successful advertising art direction and marketing business. This included providing high quality art direction and graphic design for publication and promotional materials for agency and corporate clients, implementing creative solutions, assembling teams as needed, maximizing printing efficiencies, and interfacing directly with clients and vendors.
Clients included The Martin Agency, Longwood University, Richard Bland College of William and Mary, Retirement Unlimited, HCA, Petersburg Tourism.
The Martin Agency/Sales by Design
As a Senior Art Director in Sales By Design, a Martin Agency division, I was responsible for all aspects of art direction while creating collateral for Martin Agency clients.
Clients included Palm Beach County, Kings Dominion, Barnett Banks, US West, FMC.
About Me
Travel and Cycling
I am an avid traveler. In recent years, I have combined my love of travel and love of the outdoors with cycling; riding from Prague to Vienna, Amsterdam to Bruge and Paris to Montetauris. Domestically, I have enjoyed many multi-day cycling trips in Virginia, West Virginia, North and South Carolina, Pennsylvania and New York.
Personal Art
I find inspiration everywhere I go, both for my art direction projects and for my personal art. My current form of expression is pottery. My whimsical pieces can be seen in assorted Richmond galleries and in Tidewater.
